GameHub ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This page explains what we collect, why, and what control you have over your data. By using GameHub you agree to the practices described here.
1. What we collect
- Game data stored locally in your browser (high scores, settings, progress) using
localStorage. This never leaves your device unless you sign in. - Account data if you choose to create one: a handle, an anonymous user id, and the scores you submit to leaderboards.
- Technical logs: IP address, browser type, referrer, and pages viewed. Used for security, abuse prevention, and aggregate analytics.
- Cookies: a small anonymous identifier so we can attach your scores to your device across sessions. No third-party tracking cookies are set by us.
2. What we do not collect
We do not sell your data. We do not collect precise location, contacts, microphone, or camera input. AI games that involve images use only the images you explicitly upload, and they are deleted after the session ends.
3. How we use it
- Run the games, save your progress, and show leaderboards.
- Detect cheating and abuse.
- Understand which games are popular so we can improve and ship more.
4. Third parties
We use industry-standard hosting (Vercel/Neon), and may include privacy-friendly analytics. We never share identifying data with advertisers. If you sign in via a third-party provider in the future, that provider's privacy policy will also apply.
5. Children
GameHub is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
6. Your rights
You can clear all locally stored data at any time via your browser settings. If you have an account, you can request export or deletion of your server-side data through the contact page.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the new policy.
